เมื่อกลางเดือนมกราคมที่ผ่านมา ผู้เขียนและคณะได้รับเชิญให้เข้าร่วมการประชุมทางวิชาการและร่วมพิธีฉลองการเปิดอาคารอเนกประสงค์ของวัดต้าฝอซื่อ ที่เมืองกว่างโจวสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ซึ่งจัดโดยภาควิชาปรัชญา มหาวิทยาลัยซุนยัตเซ็น ร่วมกับวัดต้าฝอซื่อ
งานประชุมสัมมนา International Youth Peace Festival 2014
เนื่องจากจัดงานครั้งนี้ ทางผู้จัดงานและผู้ก่อตั้งเป็นผู้ที่ศรัทธาในปรัชญาของมหาตมะคานธี พอจ.จึงขึ้นนําด้วยคําของคานธีที่ว่า 'จงประพฤติตนให้ต้นแบบการเปลี่ยนแปลงของของโลกที่คุณอยากเห็นแล้วนําเข้าถึงความสําคัญของสมาธิกับสันติสุขภายใน ที่ทางผู้จัดประทับใจจนนําไปลงในจดหมายข่าวว่า 'เราไม่สามารถให้ในสิ่งที่เราไม่มีได้ ถ้าเราจะสร้างสันติภาพโลก เราต้องมีสันติสุขภายในก่อน' หลังจากนั้นก็เข้าสู่การทําสมาธิ 30 นาที
